The main reason is is an an assumption that most of the Indonesian readers can read and speak English fluently, especially among students and teachers of theological schools. Another reason is that the author intends to reach a much broader audience beyond Indonesia, even though this book is published by Badan Penerbit Kristen Gunung Mulia (BPK Gunung Mulia) one of the most well-known publishers in Indonesia. The author''s hope that through this book Calvin''s insight on the unity of the church as an important calling to the churches in its diversities, will become attractive to many people in both the churches and theological schools.
