The tiring process has paid off with the presence of this book in the hands of readers. Starting from the author''''s interest in discussing conflicts in the Middle East which continue to arise resulting in increasingly expensive peace building processes in the region. The author wants to talk about one of the global challenges, namely the future of victims of conflict and war in the Middle East who are then fighting to get asylum. By referring to a phenomenon that emerged among efforts to protect the rights of refugees in the Netherlands, the author discovered a very interesting social phenomenon. In the Netherlands, it was discovered that refugees and asylum seekers were often exposed to dire conditions. In the midst of criticism of discrimination against Middle Eastern refugees, the European Union seems worthy of being the actor we have been waiting for. What the European Union''''s strategy is in responding to possible and even factual findings regarding discriminatory treatment by Dutch government agencies towards asylum seekers from the Middle East is the main focus of this book.
