General English for Students of UMUS Brebes

The book consists of seven chapters that will be taught in 14 meetings. Each chapter will present listening and speaking activities, reading comprehension, grammar discussion, and writing task. The materials are taken from some references written by local and international writers. Listening activity will be held during the class. It is intended to help the students understand what both non native and native speakers say. Speaking activity will be held during the class. Speaking is an important skill to master because anyone will judge someone who masters English from their ability in speaking English. by practicing speaking, students will get used to speak English fluently. In speaking activity, there will also be an English speech. Reading activity will be the main focus of the lesson because students need to have words powers through the reading text to comprehend a message of any English text.
