Fifth Hypothesis: There is More Than One Way to Be Human

"We were raised to become something, but rarely taught to become ourselves." What if everything you believed about being "enough" was built on borrowed standards? Before we truly realize that life is a matter of choice, we grow up within inherited standards. Be a good child. Get good grades. Follow all the rules. Don''''t fail. Don''''t bring shame. Be useful. Be successful. Yet, behind all of that, a small voice inside asks, "Is this the only way to be human?" We begin to feel stifled. Confused. Afraid of disappointing others. Wanting to be different, yet also wanting to be accepted. This is the Fifth Hypothesis-that the "path to becoming" human is never singular.
